Monocrystalline Fused Alumina Is Suitable For Vitrified, Resin-Bonded And Rubber-Bonded Grinding Wheels, Grinding Of Burnable Workpieces And Dry Grinding.

Monocrystalline Fused Alumina is produced by fusion of aluminum oxide and other auxiliary materials in electric arc furnace. It appears light blue color and multi-edged with good natural grain shape. The number of complete single crystals exceed 95%. Its compressive strength is more than 26N and toughness is 90.5%. Sharp , good brittleness and high toughness are the nature of blue monocrystalline alumina. Grinding wheel made of it has smooth grinding surface and is not easy to burn workpiece.
